We absolutely loved our stay at Claudine’s villa. The house was clean and comfortable, and it was lovely to come home to at the end of the day. We loved having dinner on the patio in the garden and having a fenced-in courtyard all to ourselves. Claudine was extremely welcoming and charming, and she brought us some delicious snacks.

Claudine is a kind and welcoming host who knows exactly how to make you, your partner or your whole family feel right at home. This accommodation is fully equipped – right down to the picnic baskets – for whatever adventures you fancy. Claudine kindly showed us round all the facilities, handed over the keys and even brought us some black pepper when we’d run out. She and her home are real gems. If, for any reason, this property isn’t booked, you’re in luck, because it’s a real pleasure to stay here.

It was quite simply perfect! The accommodation is particularly well-equipped – ‘just like home’. Nothing is missing. Claudine is lovely. We highly recommend this accommodation.

A lovely little house – very pleasant and comfortable, well-equipped, just below the village of Moutiers (a 10-minute walk), with a furnished terrace and a plancha, and a lovely setting and garden. The perfect base for exploring the Verdon Gorges and Lake Sainte-Croix, thanks to the advice from Claudine, our friendly host.

I cannot recommend Claudine’s house highly enough! Claudine offers a lovely house and everything you could possibly need, both for your stay and for exploring the area. It’s a brilliant place to stay. Moustiers is truly charming, but for us, it was mainly the gorges and the surrounding area that drew us here, and we weren’t disappointed! Kayaking in the gorges is incredible, and we highly recommend hiring e-bikes, even if you’re keen cyclists. We took a route north of the lake which took us to places we might not otherwise have seen. All in all, a fantastic stay! Thank you, Claudine.

We had a brilliant stay. The house is fantastic and fully equipped with everything you’ll need for cooking, bed linen and even cool bags and picnic mats. The neighbourhood is perfect, with superb views and just a 10-minute walk from the village, which gets very busy, so being able to walk there is a huge bonus. It’s also a 10-minute drive from the lake, which is perfect for an evening swim when it’s less crowded. We felt right at home; we were made to feel very welcome and looked after extremely well. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back in the future!

Claudine gave us a very warm welcome. She had prepared some lovely local treats for us. Always attentive to our needs, she suggested events we might enjoy and checked for us whether the walking trail we wanted to do was open. We felt very welcome. The accommodation is exactly as shown in the photos, if not better. Everything is provided to make you feel right at home. The best bit was that we could park our car safely within the estate. In the mornings, we’d occasionally spot a squirrel running across the garden. And the fact that the village is within walking distance is a real bonus, as it’s a truly beautiful village. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this accommodation for its warm welcome, comfort and tranquillity.

We were looking forward to returning to this beautiful region after several years away. THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST AIRBNB WE’VE EVER FOUND. Claudine is absolutely brilliant. It was spotless, perfect and clean – which is very important to me. It was incredibly comfortable. The beds, the pillows (both incredible), the towels, the kitchen and the living room are absolutely perfect. The bathroom is gorgeous with a marvellous shower. We felt so at home here that we would have loved to stay for a week! We loved the beautiful courtyard and all the extra effort made to ensure we felt safe. The location was perfect for us. We love walking everywhere, even though we had a car. We walked up to the top of the village both evenings, which we loved. We were just 10 minutes from the magnificent Verdon Gorges, where we hired electric boats. Claudine gave us all the information we needed. Claudine welcomed us on arrival and we’ve never felt so warmly welcomed! When I mentioned that I’d be staying with my children, they asked me in advance if I needed any baby equipment, and they’d laid out lots of brand-new toys for the children. Quite simply because Claudine welcomes you with all the care and attention she herself likes to find when she travels. And you can feel it in every detail… The accommodation is very pleasant, exactly as described, and everything is wonderfully well thought out, well-maintained and well-equipped. A superb, cosy house in an absolutely incredible location! Claudine was very welcoming and helpful. She’d stocked the house perfectly, with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, as well as extra blankets, books and games, etc. And Moustiers-Sainte-Marie is a stunning place, well worth a visit. My wife and I absolutely loved our stay. I wish I could give more than 5 stars in the review. I’ve been using Airbnb for over 8 years and have stayed in more than 80 places around the world. I’d say Claudine’s place is one of the top 5! It really feels like home: spotlessly clean, well-maintained and beautifully decorated. We particularly appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and the very comfortable beds. The courtyard is also lovely, with some nice outdoor furniture. Unfortunately, it wasn’t warm enough for us to make the most of it. Claudine is also a really lovely host. It’s clear she makes her guests’ comfort a top priority and puts a lot of thought and effort into ensuring it. She even prepared some lovely, thoughtful welcome gifts for us. We’ve stayed in lots of Airbnb properties before, but this one is without a doubt one of the loveliest we’ve stayed in so far. In fact, the flat is even lovelier than it looks in the photos. The flat is perfectly equipped and Claudine has really thought of everything we might need, right down to the smallest details. What’s more, Claudine gave us a very warm welcome. We felt right at home straight away, and the many little welcome gifts were a lovely surprise and made the start of our stay even more enjoyable. Claudine gave us a very warm welcome, with wine, honey, delicious local biscuits and even more gifts. Simply brilliant! The house is very spacious and Claudine has thought of every conceivable detail to make her guests’ stay as comfortable as possible. She gave us some very useful information about which restaurants and shops were still open. We really enjoyed our stay with her!

Everything is brilliant. Clean, comfortable, cosy, a really well-equipped kitchen, a lovely private garden with a large terrace. Plenty of space for the car and a shelter for our bikes was available. Claudine was incredibly friendly. Little welcome gifts (wine, soap, etc.). You don’t need to bring any spices, vinegar, oil, etc., or soap, shampoo, etc. Water, beer and fruit juice are provided. Just BRILLIANT!

We are very pleased with Claudine’s accommodation. This little house with a garden is in almost new condition (the property opened in September 2025). It is practical and very well equipped. It is ideally situated at the foot of the village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie (within walking distance). Claudine is a very pleasant person, always available without being intrusive. We recommend this accommodation without reservation.
