Moustiers-Sainte-Marie and the Verdon offer a charming village, a lake and gorges with turquoise waters, walking trails and fields of lavender. From the holiday cottage, everything is just a few minutes’ walk or drive away.
Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, a 600-metre walk

Lake Sainte-Croix
About a 10-minute drive away. Beautiful turquoise water for a swim at the end of the day, when it’s less crowded.

- Canoeing and pedalos
- Electric boats
- A drive around the lake takes about an hour

The Verdon Gorges
Just a stone’s throw from the gîte, the gorges offer spectacular scenery, which you can explore from the water or along the footpaths.
- Kayaking in the gorges
- E-bikes, including options for experienced cyclists
- Hiking, with some trails starting right from the gîte

The Valensole Plateau
Its lavender fields are in bloom in early summer: allow 30 to 45 minutes by car, depending on traffic and your chosen location. Check the flowering period before you set off.

- Paragliding above Moustiers
- Hiking directly from the gîte
